Pregnancy Yoga- Suitable for all in the second and third trimester of pregnancy (from 12 weeks). These classes include yoga postures, breathing techniques (invaluable for birth!) and gorgeous guided relaxations. All designed to help you enjoy your pregnancy and prepare for birth. Yoga can help with PGP, Sciatica, lower back pain, and other pregnancy related complaints.
Whatever your pregnancy journey you will be welcomed with open arms, so whether you are carrying your first or fifth (or more!) baby, if they are a rainbow baby, if you had help to conceive or if it just happened, if you have twins or multiples, or a complicated pregnancy, there is warmth and support waiting for you here. Lots of opportunity to chat to your fellow bump buddies, and evidence-based information and support to empower you in your pregnancy and birth planning.
Mum and Baby Yoga - These classes give both you and your baby (or babies!) a gorgeous stretch out and time to relax and bond together whilst making friends in small supportive groups. They include post-natal mummy yoga (designed to help you recover and strengthen after pregnancy and birth and to support your body in its new role caring for your baby on the outside!), baby yoga (you will be amazed by how flexible they are!) and shared relaxation time together. Suitable from 6 weeks post-birth.

Hi! I’m Ani and I have been supporting people during their pregnancies, postnatally and beyond through yoga since 2016. I found yoga when I was pregnant myself in 2011 and haven’t been away from my mat since! I love what yoga does for the body and mind, and feel that pregnancy is a wonderful time to begin a practice. I used Natal Hypnotherapy for my own birth, and am delighted to have been able to bring that to clients alongside yoga since 2019.
I have a 200 hour yoga teaching qualification which is accredited by the IICT and IIPI. I keep up to date with all things yoga, birth and beyond with regular CPD courses, including most recently a workshops on Active Birth, on LGBTQ+ inclusive teaching, and on yoga for peri-menopause, and a course in Yin Yoga. I am first aid qualified and fully insured.
I am a qualified Natal Hypnotherapy Practitioner. I trained with Maggie Howell and my training is accredited by the Royal College of Midwifes. Natal Hypnotherapy is widely recognised and endorsed by UK midwifes and many have trained in it themselves! You can read more about Maggie Howell’s Natal Hypnotherapy here.
I teach a range of group classes in person in Southampton including pregnancy, mum and baby and yoga for women. I also teach online classes which are available nationally and internationally!
My private yoga, birth preparation and hypno-birthing sessions take place in my beautiful garden studio at my home in Woolston, Southampton. The studio is a private, tranquil space with underfloor heating to keep you cozy, and all the equipment we need for your session. I use tailored essential oils in a diffuser for your session, and you should leave feeling perfectly relaxed!
