A 2 hour weekly class for parents of babies newborn - pre crawlers. Each week has a different activity, trainer or expert leading the first hour of the session - expect to try new things, we have booked a wide range of experiences! The second hour is handed over to you and has been reserved for coffee, cakes and chat. Sessions are booked in blocks of 3 or as single sessions. Your ticket includes a drink and the cake/treats per session. We have playmats and toys to help entertain your baby whilst you enjoy the session.
About
We created this class after the experience we had after having our second children. We had missed the usual friend making classes that we had gone on with our first babies and so when it came to having our second, we were a bit lost and lonely once the visitors had left and our partners had gone back to work. Thankfully we met each but felt that it was shame that we had to wait until our babies were old enough to join a singing class in order to meet other parents, especially as we lived just around the corner from each other! We talked about the class we wished we'd had and then decided to make that a reality and create a new class that helps to build friendships as well as try different experiences and hear from the experts that we actually wanted advice from (cue the swift call to the sleep training expert!). Baby Social was created and we are really looking forward to welcoming you to a friendly, non judgmental, fun group that aims to help you make the most of your well earned maternity leave.
