La Médiathèque is one of the largest free access French libraries in the UK with extensive collections in French and about France, for all ages and language levels.
Our collection has over 40,000 physical items and is open free of charge ; Borrowing rights are reserved for members of the Institut français only.

The Bibliothèque Quentin Blake is the dedicated space for children’s collections catered to kids up to 12 years old:
- Picture books, nursery rhymes and traditional tales for the very young
- Comic books, stories for early readers and novels

The children's librarians also offer activities around books and the French language all year round.
