If you’re looking for a fun, safe and effective work out with your baby in a secure environment with a qualified pre and postnatal instructor, then look no further. No need to organise childcare, Barre and Baby allows you to bond with your child whilst you work out. Meeting other mums and getting fit at the same time, sounds like a win win to me!
Over the course of the block you will gradulally build up strength and stamina while increasing core stability performing movements that aids your body through its recovery period postpartum. The class is designed and performed to upbeat music ensuring we are working both sides of the body equily and will have you singing along all at the same time.
You have the option to wear you baby in a safe,secure baby harness during the first part of the class or you can bring a soft blanket for them to lay on. You will also need a yoga mat and a set of light 1kg hand weights if you have them, I’ll bring the rest of the equipment needed, depending on the playlist. If you opt to wear you baby in a harness we perform the exercises with them for the first 20/25 minutes of class and then we take them out for our last section of the class when we are on the floor doing mat work. It’s a great way to bond with your baby while still doing something for yourself.
