Established in May 2000, Boogie Beat music and movement classes are energetic and fun, combining music and dance with carefully structured learning. Our music and dance classes and workshops help children to develop confidence, coordination and social skills whilst they learn to express themselves in a friendly and relaxed environment. Perfect for Babies to 7 year olds. Boogie Beat music and movement pre-school classes are based on traditional fairy tales and nursery rhymes with a lively and active dance twist! We also run Boogie Beat music and movement workshops in Primary Schools, Nurseries, Pre-schools, Playgroups, Childminders, Toddler groups and our fantastic Intergeneration workshops involving the whole community.

We offer Boogie Beat Baby classes for babies to 5 years. Our mixed age classes are designed for families to attend with all their children.
We ensure that every child feels welcomed and included in our sessions, which promote their development through music, dance, songs, and movement. The consistent structure of each class helps children become familiar with the routine, aiding their ability to self-regulate and feel comfortable.
We offer a variety of tempos, props, and activities to engage all children, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience. To provide extra support, we offer noise-cancelling ear defenders for sensitive ears, wrist or walker-attached instruments for those with motor challenges, and our teams are being trained in Makaton, using signs and symbols to enhance learning.
Classes also feature a sensory box, filled with items such as sensory balls, puppets, sand timers, and exercise cards, available to children and parents as needed. These resources help us create an environment that supports diverse needs, fosters inclusion, and builds a strong sense of belonging for everyone.
