About
ππΌHi,
Iβm Felicity, the teacher behind Creative Playhouse sessions and Bright Sparks Creative Learning. With 20 years in childcare and 18 years of teaching experience, I have a deep passion for Early Years education. My approach is all about making learning FUN by following the interests of the little ones.
When my own little one came along, I enjoyed attending various groups but found some a bit overwhelming for both of us. He needed the freedom to explore without too much structure, a little extra warning before activities ended and sometimes the noise was just too much, making him seek extra comfort from me.
Thatβs why I decided to create my own classes where children can freely explore while learning new skills. After moving to Verwood 10 years ago, I havenβt connected with many families locally and often travel to see friends for playdates. I hope these classes will become a community where mums can chat, make friends and support one another. After all, it takes a village! This is why Iβve added extra time for drinks and snacks, giving parents a chance to chat while keeping an eye on their children (or hopefully sitting and enjoying a biccie).
