Busy Birds is located at Wetherby Sports Association. Step into a world of wonder with 8 enchanting role play booths, each adorned with uniquely designed backdrops that transport children to imaginative realms.
The outdoor learning area is open from May until September. Here you will find opportunities to dig, plant, hunt for bugs, paint, make mud pies, plus lots more!
There will be hot drinks and snacks available to purchase. There will be plenty of seating if you wish to relax while watching your little one play. There is plenty of parking right outside the venue.

I'm Charlotte, the proud owner of Busy Birds, and I'm thrilled to share our journey with you.
Before diving into the world of parent and toddler sessions, I spent a decade as a primary school teacher in Yorkshire, London and the sunny city of Dubai.
Since then, I have become a mother to three wonderful children, and have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the joy and wonder that come from embracing the great outdoors. In 2020, Busy Birds was launched, offering outdoor learning sessions at some of Yorkshire’s finest family friendly locations. It was a dream come true to see families come together to explore, discover, and connect with nature.
In 2023, Busy Birds took a new turn. Drawing from a passion for role play and the boundless benefits it offers in children's development, ‘Busy Birds Role Play Adventures’ was born. This exciting addition is a delightful fusion of my love for the great outdoors and the enchantment of role play. It brings the beauty of the outdoors indoors, offering a space where imaginations can soar and learning knows no bounds.
