Founded in 2001 and based on Montessori principles fun is at the heart of everything we do. Our carefully-planned music, movement and sensory sessions are very colourful, interactive, educational, and varied – there really is something for everyone. Every child is unique in their development and little ones can join in when they are ready. At Caterpillar Music, we learn music-making as well as developing physical, language and social skills.

About

I'm Anita and I run Caterpillar Music and movement classes for children aged 0-4 years. I have a background in Montessori teaching and I have been running Caterpillar Music for almost 8 years. My classes are 40 minutes and I use puppets, instruments and scarves to make classes interactive, educational and fun!! The children look forward to our weekly themes, singing, dancing and exciting props! We sing nursery rhymes and action songs and I keep around 4 songs the same each week as children like and learn through repetition. The other songs are based on our theme for the week.
