What Creative Dance Club says

Come shimmy, shake, slide, swivel and move your bodies together with creative games, props and stories to inspire movement and a chance for grown ups and their children to dance and explore the themes together!

This class follows an holistic approach and offers an opportunity for Children and their grown ups to explore movement and dance through games, creative exercises and guided improvisation. It aids confidence building, risk taking, problem solving and team work in a safe and encouraging environment where children can explore their creativity with no judgement. Each session will focus on a different theme through story telling and movement.

About

Classes are led by Holly Warren. Holly trained as a dancer at London contemporary dance school graduating in 2005. She then worked as a freelance dance artist and teacher in London before gaining a PGCE in dance Secondary and delivering dance to Children aged 4-18 in schools and within the community. Holly is interested in how dance can aid emotional and physical wellbeing within children and has designed these classes with the hope of inspiring children to think outside the box and to have confidence in their own abilities as individuals.
