CRICKET TOTS SURREY
What Cricket Tots says
Cricket tots is about so much more than ‘just cricket’ – it’s about developing your ‘whole’ child. Our kids’ cricket classes have lots of benefits, not least of which is that they teach your toddler or pre-schooler how to be part of a team.
About
Our cricket classes for toddlers and preschoolers in Surrey are run by Tom Gatzen.
An entrepreneur with 2 tech businesses to his name, he’s also the proud dad of a little boy, Zach.
Tom’s love of cricket began when his own dad started taking him to cricket classes at Eastcote Cricket Club when he was about 5 years old.
He then played through their Colts and his school teams, as well as the county youth teams, and he still plays at Thames Ditton Cricket Club.
In his own words, Tom has “a tragic love of all sports” – he particularly enjoys playing tennis, squash, and golf, has been a season ticket holder at Watford FC for 20+ years, and follows the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL (National Football League)!
Keen to share his love for sport with his son, Tom started to look for suitable cricket classes for when Zach’s a bit older.
He couldn’t find anything locally, but then came across Cricket tots classes running in other parts of the country.
“Once I’d read all about Cricket Tots, and saw the great work they do in giving toddlers the opportunity to socialise and learn the basics of cricket, running my own classes felt like a great opportunity,” Tom explains. “I’m excited to bring Cricket tots classes to the kids in Surrey and pass on my love of cricket to the next generation.”
Tom can’t wait to welcome you and your little one to his classes to start the innings of a lifetime!
