What David Lean Cinema says

These screenings are especially for parents with babes in arms aged up to approximately 12 months. The cinema lighting is low but not fully down, and the sound level is significantly lower than usual. When available, subtitles are also present. Parents may occasionally need to leave their seats and the audience cannot expect a quiet auditorium throughout the film. Other patrons may attend but providing optimum conditions and a relaxed environment for parents is our primary goal.
The features chosen for these screenings are aimed at adults and it remains the parent’s responsibility to determine the suitability of the film in conjunction with their accompanying baby’s age. It is not recommended to bring children to these screenings who would have comprehension of the film’s content where there may be an unsuitable rating
