What Drama Tots says

Drama Tots provides award-winning drama, music and imaginative play classes for children aged 18 months to 5 Years. We run weekly classes, nursery sessions, parties and events.

We combine music, movement and creative play to allow your child to be imaginative, gain confidence and have fun in a friendly and nurturing environment.

We use a fantastic range of props, puppets and instruments to bring our adventures to life.

The Drama Tots programme has been carefully written using the Early Year Foundations Stage Curriculum.

Hi there, I’m Natalie and I’m delighted to bring the fantastic world of Drama Tots to East Devon and Exeter!

Formally, I was a Drama Tots teacher and, for just over a year, enjoyed teaching the wonderfully imaginative Drama Tots sessions to community classes and early years settings. Then the opportunity arose to become a franchisee and I jumped at the chance!

I’ve been involved in performing arts since a very young age, doing ballet, tap and modern as a child as well as acting and singing on stage and went on to study drama and then theatre studies at A-level.

I have been part of my local community theatre group since the age of nine and, alongside a friend, have run the weekly club night for our junior group for over 10 years. I have also written, directed and choreographed various plays, shows and pantomimes for both children and adults and love the magic that theatre creates! During this time, I’ve witnessed firsthand how positively drama affects children and young people, how much confidence it brings to even the shyest amongst us and how it helps us to interact with others and build positive relationships.

I feel hugely privileged to now bring that to a younger age group. Drama Tots lesson plans are so cleverly put together that children are instantly transported to a magical world of imaginative play and learning where, each week, they will be nurtured, supported and will accomplish new skills, build confidence and have a wonderful time interacting with others.

As a mum of two I know only too well how the saying “The days are long but the years are short” hits home and I really look forward to welcoming you and your little one to our sessions and help to create some magical experiences for you to enjoy and fondly look back on!
