What Glow Wonderland says

Pop up sensory sessions for babies, toddlers and SEN children in and around Poole and Bournemouth. A sensory wonderland of lights and colours, our twinkling space is a safe, calming and engaging environment for your child to explore and learn through their imagination and senses.

Our sessions are child-led, 45 mins long and completely dark room based in which we have magical lighting, calming music and a range of sensory toys and activities for your child to explore. Parents are encouraged to play alongside their children, socialise with other parents and just take in the therapeutic ambiance of the room which provides a much-needed reset for our week.

Hi! My name is Alex, I am the owner of Glow Wonderland and a mum of 2, soon to be 3. My oldest of 10 years old has always had sensory issues and over the years I have learnt a lot about managing the emotional roller-coaster of a dysregulated child. Along came my second, now 2 years old and if these last 2 years have taught me anything, it’s that we all need a little sensory regulation in our lives. It came to my attention that more adults are aware of their children’s and maybe even their own need for a reset as we try to navigate our busy lives! I have found a passion in learning about how sensory aids can help not only our children’s development and emotional wellbeing but our own and came up with this idea for parents and children to benefit from these sensory experiences together in pop up sensory sessions around Poole and Bournemouth.
