About

Hi, I'm Joanne, a part time teaching assistant and mummy of one. My daughter, Marlaya and I stumbled across Hartbeeps when it was time for me to go back to work after ten glorious months of maternity leave.

I was looking for something fun for Marlaya to do with her Grandmoo whilst I was busy tending to a class full of 9 and 10 year olds during the day. I attended a taster session run by Natasha and I was instantly blown away!

I had to contain my excitement that, at times, even Marlaya looked at me confused and almost embarrassed! We were transported to a world filled with creativity and endless magic. From then on, we were hooked.

During the holidays, I would jump at the chance of being able to take Marlaya to her classes. Then it dawned on me, I could run my own classes! I would hear each week and see for myself, just how much Marlaya loved each session and I watched her flourish in so many ways.
