Hewitt Performing Arts is a very large Performing Arts school based in Essex (that is in its 50th year of trading), with branches in Romford. We cover all aspects of the performing arts such as Tap, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Disco, Street, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Drama, Singing, Irish Hard Shoe, Irish Soft Shoe, Contemporary, and Teachers Training. Every year more students qualify as Dance Teachers. On January 1st 2000 Jean Hewitt (Founder of HPA) lead the News Years day Parade through London as she was recognized by the Queen for her contribution to the dance world. She went on to meet The Queen later on that year.
