We deliver quality musical-play classes full of singing, instrument play and movement to support a young child's natural musicality and early learning development. All our classes are age appropriate and delivered by our team of qualified and professional Early Years Music Specialists. We believe in the power of learning through play and our classes are all about experimenting with music through play. We are all qualified teachers, musicians and music educators and experienced in supporting children and families with additional needs though music-play. We deliver bespoke classes to support children in Nurseries and Early Years Settings.

About

Hi, I'm Rachel, and I started Kiddibops Music-Play Classes after leaving Secondary Music Teaching after 22 years to have my children. Being a musician and music educator, I was desperate to find a real music class that would introduce my children to the joy of music through play-based learning. I was disappointed in what I found, and although the classes on offer were entertaining, I found them over stimulatory and lacking in true musical content and delivery. I knew at once that it would be the logical step for me to create quality music classes that I would want for my children. Music is such a powerful learning tool and if used with skill and understanding, it supports children in all areas of learning development. Combined with a play-based learning approach and child led content, it allows children to explore and be creative in their own music-making. I am passionate about early years music and have recently been awarded a distinction at Masters level in Early Years Education specialising in music from birth to 5 years. My research focussed on creating and developing a programme for parents to use music in supporting their children with SEND, in particular those with ASD and speech, language and communication delays. I believe that all young children should have access to quality musical experiences and at a Kiddibops class, that is what we will deliver. I work with a team of talented early years music practitioners, all talented musicians and educators experienced in working with SEND.
