Here at Barnet Libraries, we run a range of activities for under-fives to support early learning and development.
FREE weekly Rhyme Time sessions run in all libraries during term time. Sessions run on a first come, first served basis.
The libraries specialist early years team delivers a bespoke activity programme. These activities must be pre-booked.
Baby Bounce and Play sessions involve gentle singing, movement, books and engaging activities that will stimulate your baby's senses and encourage their development. Sessions run at multiple libraries and cost just £3.00. We also invite expectant mums to come along and experience a FREE session before baby is born. Please book a 'Mum with Bump' ticket.

Play Club at Chipping Barnet library is perfect for little ones aged between 1 and 4 years old. Children can engage in various play activities designed to support physical development and general wellbeing. Sessions cost £3.00. Tickets must be booked online.

Toddler Time is a fun-filled session where toddlers can engage in various activities designed to support all aspects of early learning. The session ends with a short rhyme and story session. Toddler Time sessions run at Finchley Church End and Colindale libraries and cost £3.00. Tickets must be booked online.
