About
My name is Kimberley, and I am the proud owner of LullaBaby Manchester North East. I have 2 children, Josh who is 17 years old and Annie who has just turned 1 year old. I have a stepdaughter, Leah who is 15. I also have 3 fur children, Lulu the crazy cockapoo and Bella & Rosie my twin bunnies.
I am a qualified paediatric nurse and have spent the last 11 years working on a neonatal intensive care unit with sick and premature babies both clinically and in an education setting. I teach, support and empower others including parents/caregivers to ensure the best care is given to all patients. However, since having my daughter I realised that since she will probably be my last baby (after a 17-year gap, crazy!) I felt I needed to spend as much time with her watching her grow and reach her milestones and as much as I am proud to be a nurse it doesn’t allow for this. I needed a better work life balance.
I attended some baby classes while on maternity and thought to myself ‘I can do this’ I’m used to teaching and delivering sessions to groups of people and I have experience of babies’ development and needs, and that’s when LullaBaby came along. I was so excited to become part of the LullaBaby family as what we offer is amazing and it is linked to the EYFS!
My aim is to empower and teach parents/caregivers the knowledge and skills required to help aid their babies’ development and make lasting memories in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
The classes are not only beneficial for the babies but for the grown-ups too, it gives you the chance to meet new people, build new relationships, learn new skills, and even grab a hot cuppa!
I look forward to meeting you and your little ones and joining you on your babies’ developmental journey
