MAGICAL TOTS

Learning through dance

What Magical Tots says

Magical Tots is a unique, creatively-entwined class where children (aged 18 months +) learn through dance. At Magical Tots, children are enlightened into the world of pointy toes and jazz hands, sparking their creativity and imagination, whilst also learning key skills and knowledge from the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. So pick up your magic wand, put on your tutu or cape and get ready to shine.

We are very privileged to have fantastic spacious venues to run Magical Tots classes throughout the school term times. Venues include Bradworthy Memorial Hall, Holsworthy Primary School, The Studio at The Venue, Bude & Little Stars at The Milky Way Adventure Park, Bideford.

Classes are split into age groups:
Pixies (18 Months - 2.5 Years)
Pixicorns (2 Years - 3.5 Years)
Unicorns (2.5 Years - 4 Years)
Toadstools (3 Years - 6 Years)
Toadstools & Magical Tap (3 Years - 6 Years)

Classes are fun and exciting and develop age-appropriate dance skills, confidence and Early Years Foundation Stage knowledge with the help of magical props and music. Founded by Amy Jane, who is not only a fully qualified Primary School Teacher (QTS) specialising in Early Years, but is also trained in Musical Theatre (First Class BA Honours Degree), Amy Jane's magical enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge and skills make Magical Tots the perfect class for your tot to sparkle on the dance floor!

So why not bring your little star along to a class so they too can experience the magic of Magical Tots!

About

Miss Amy Jane - Magical Tots Owner & Teacher
Amy Jane (PGCE Primary Education, BA Honours Musical Theatre) is a fully qualified Primary School Teacher, specialising in Early Years. Before studying to become a teacher, Amy attended the University of Chichester, where she gained a First Class BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. Amy has sung and performed for many audiences, a great achievement being crowned the winner of Stafford's Got Talent 2009.

Some of Amy's favourite performances include taking the role of Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls at Stoke-On-Trent's Regent Theatre, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes (UoC Touring Company) and playing Lady Victoria Sponge in The Pirates of Mutiny Bay at the Alton Towers Resort.

When she's not teaching, Amy spends her time bringing up her own little Magical Tot, Beau Valentine.

Amy's unique skills and qualifications allow her to bring something new and dynamic that she loves sharing with North Devon and Cornwall's budding young stars. Not only will your child have the opportunity to dance and perform, but they will be learning key Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum at the same time.

Children learn best when they are moving and active; in an ever-growing digital world, Amy would like to inspire your child to get moving, encouraging healthy habits from an early age and supporting wellbeing and creativity.

So why not bring your little star along to a class so they too can experience the magic of Magical Tots!
