What Me&Baby Dance says

There is something undeniably exciting about dancing together! Whether dancing is something you do often or something you haven’t tried since becoming a parent, our creative dance sessions are waiting for you. Our sessions celebrate individuality and difference. Our facilitators will offer suggestions for movement games and creative explorations, which you and your child can develop in your own unique way.

Moving together is fun and healthy. It can spark new connections and enhance the wellbeing of both parent and child, where you might discover new sides to your child or rediscover something about yourself.

Our sessions are informed by dance movement psychotherapy and designed to awaken creativity and support bonding. Our facilitators are trained in child development, attachment theory, movement analysis, and creative dance.

Come and enjoy music and movement together with your child and other families. Find playful ways to connect and work creatively with your child’s developing physicality.

Come as you are. No previous dance experience needed. Just bring comfortable clothes and get ready to move!

About

I’m a dance movement psychotherapist and a proud mother of two young daughters. When my first baby was just a couple of months old, I founded Me&Baby Dance. My goal was to create a space where I could be creative and playful alongside my baby. I realized there weren’t any sessions out there that offered what Me&Baby Dance does – a unique opportunity to connect with my baby and other families through dance, allowing me to be a person in my own right.

Sharing my love for dance, music, and movement has always been a passion of mine. Parenting introduced stress and concerns about practicalities like feeding and nap times and left me feeling isolated from other adults. That’s why I designed Me&Baby Dance to foster connections: reconnecting with my own body after becoming a parent, bonding with my child, and connecting with other families, all through the joy of movement and creative dance.
