About

During my first pregnancy six years ago, I found myself living far from family and surrounded only by colleagues. I didn’t know anyone else who was experiencing what I was. I longed for a community, a village where I could share wisdom and connect with others. I felt stressed and anxious, and it took a toll on me physically, causing significant pain and discomfort. Desperate for relief, I turned to what I knew best: yoga.

Drawing on the aspects of yoga I was familiar with—movement, breathwork, meditation, and self-awareness—I began to find solace. I took pen to paper and brainstormed what has now become Mellow Mummas. This is a combination of yoga, mindfulness, coaching, community, and events tailored for mums and mums-to-be.

What started as an in-person birth preparation yoga class has evolved over the past five years into a multifaceted, community-based initiative. Mellow Mummas now offers events and an online platform, collaborating with passionate local experts to create memorable, empowering, and enriching experiences. We provide online prenatal and postnatal yoga, baby and me in-person yoga, rejuvenating motherhood retreats, and a mindful pregnancy planner.
