Hello! Very excited to introduce myself to you.

I’m Jennie AKA Jennie Poppins. I live in Sevenoaks with my husband and two little girls Indie nearly 3 and Scarlett 14 months.

My background has always been in performing and working with Children. I used to run a Gymboree in East Dulwich and worked weekends as a Children’s Entertainer. I performed in a number of bands, wrote my own songs, did lots of Children’s Theatre and voiced lots of Fisher Price Toys (you might even have me already annoying you in your homes)! From there I went on to teach Phonics to reception children in Primary Schools until Covid hit and I then had baby Indie. The rest as they say is history…
I always knew I wanted to start my own business. I even created this page many years ago, I just needed to find the right concept. After having my own children I decided to combine the skills I already had and Merry Poppins was officially born.
A Mum recently said to me, you have children and work with children? You must be mad! To which I replied “I’ll do anything to get out of going to the gym.”
