As parents ourselves, we wanted to create a space inclusive for working parents with small children. We found that when it came to the weekend we were very limited on activities we could do with a baby and thought we would try to change that. We also found there wasn't really any purpose build sensory rooms in the Southend on sea area and found ourselves travelling a lot to find places to take our baby. We have decided to include tea and coffee making facilities so that parents have a safe, non judgemental space to sit and have a chat before/after their session.
As a mum myself it was really important to me to make sure we included a spacious and clean baby change area and so this is something I am really proud to say we have achieved.
