**Please note that Mudder Nature is not JUST for toddlers**

- I love adapting activities to age & stage - e.g. we often have 3 'levels' of scavenger hunts available (from finding 'green' to 'lichen'!) and different crafting options. I believe passionately that children should be encouraged to enjoy this type of play, discovery & creativity as long as possible.

For now, activities are primarily designed for approx 18 months - 7 years old. However, siblings are always welcome.

I aim for to create an experience that is nurturing and enjoyable for adults too - looking after children in nature and in community (with nice teas ) is just better for the soul than going it alone indoors, in my personal experience.

I will be launching weekly parent & baby (under 18 months) and pop-up 'big kid' (4-9 year old) sessions very soon. Super exciting treasure map making & park-wide mission planned for the latter, with a sensory 'Snifari' under development for the former. Love that this is my job now!? About

I'm a local Crystal Palace / South Norwood mum who wants to share the benefits of getting creative in our sometimes under-appreciated local natural spaces. I LOVE bringing together families to get back to the good stuff of childhood, with playdates & parties designed to connect you with our lovely outdoor wooded spaces, your local community and yourselves.

My sessions are inspired by a lifelong love of art and nature - I grew up by the woods in Cornwall with an artist Mum. I have experience volunteering in Early Years and Forest School settings, and two wild children of my own (toddler and 5 year old). I am doing my Forest School Leader Level 3 Training in autumn 2025, and many of our activities are inspired by this ethos, and other pedagogies I am interested in, e.g. Waldorf/Steiner and Montessori - I pick 'n' mix and add a bit of (eco) sparkle.

Mudder Nature playdates require adult participation - not just for the children, but for the grown-ups too. I aim to create a nurturing and fun experience and eventually community for all.
