MY STORY
My name is Rosie, and I’m a photographer, mum, and the founder of Mums Photo Academy, a platform with online courses designed just for mums.. The reason I do this is because, as a photographer, I used to spend so much time chasing the perfect images—the ones with flawless poses, perfect lighting, and everything just right. But as a mum, I realised that life with kids isn’t perfect—it’s messy, chaotic, and full of real, raw emotions.
This realisation made me feel like I was missing the heart of what truly matters—those imperfect but beautiful moments that tell the story of our lives. By letting go of perfection and focusing on the little, everyday moments, I discovered how to capture images that fill my heart with joy and preserve the love in my family’s story. Now, I’m on a mission to help other mums do the same.
I recently worked with a mum who came to me feeling overwhelmed and disappointed every time she tried to photograph her little one. She felt like her pictures were always blurry or staged, and she wasn’t capturing the emotions she wanted to remember.
