What Music for Minis says

We both are passionate about how important music is for children’s development. Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, particularly in the areas of language acquisition and reading skills.
Music has a powerful, transformative and unifying effect on people. Music contributes to better memory and cognitive skills -this is because listening to, and playing music, produce changes in the brain. Also, both activities can release a healthy dose of endorphins, the so-called ‘happiness hormone.’

During the class we will enjoy singing, stories, movement, play instruments, listen to different genres of music and relaxation time.
Themed weeks will take place throughout the year and special classes will also be advertised for example for Christmas 🎄!!
We really want to make everyone welcome at our classes. We are both parents ourselves so we totally understand how daunting it can feel turning up at a new group - we have been there ourselves! Please come along - there is nothing to worry about - if your child cries and needs feeding or changing or whatever then that’s what they need and we are all there to help! We are a welcoming, safe space for you and your little ones.
Additional information about facilities:
The Community Centre has a large free car park to the rear, there is a small amount of on street parking out the front. We will use the front left door. There is plenty of space for prams and buggies. Venue has changing facilities and toilets.
