What Musical Miniatures says

Musical Miniatures (0-5yr olds) was formed in July of 2017 and has since grown two extra arms(!) expanding our musical output with Musical Giants (4-7yr olds started in Sept 2021) and Leytonstone Voices (An adult community choir, started in May 2022). As a small independent business, all of the class are run by musician, qualified teacher and early years specialist Jenny Milway.

In Musical Miniatures and Musical Giants, our aim is to support your little ones to become healthier, more confident, able learners alongside becoming more accomplished musicians. The health benefits of singing have been well documented, and Leytonstone Voices is there for anyone who would like to come and make a joyful sound! It truly is for anyone and everyone who loves to sing, regardless of ability and experience.

***Unfortunately the Happity booking system doesn't integrate with out own booking system, so in order to avoid overbooking of our very popular Early Years classes, the number and variety of ticket options available via Happity is limited to drop in only. If the page says the class is full, there may well be tickets available via our website www.musicalminiatures.co.uk. - we also have a wider range of ticket options through our website including Low/No income, Flexi-Passes and Block booking options.

About

I am a local Leytonstone mum and have both a First Class Bachelor of Music Degree from Leeds University and a PGCE in Secondary Music from the Institute of Education. As a trained musician and educator, I have taught in Early Years, Primary and Secondary settings, with experience ranging from classroom teaching, teaching individual instrumental lessons, running choirs, orchestras, bands, putting on school concerts, carol services, productions and running training sessions for staff.

I love learning and am constantly nurturing and developing my own musical skills and knowledge in order to ensure I can create and deliver the most beneficial and age appropriate classes for Musical Miniatures.

I am passionate about supporting parents to bring singing into their everyday lives with their children and believe music is such a powerful tool for connecting with our children. I also think singing can fill your cup with joy, and love working with babies, children and adults throughout leytonstone through the various classes and ensembles that I run.
