What Norden Farm Centre for the Arts says

Throughout the year, we host groups, classes and workshops for pre-school children, children and young people. All activities are led by DBS checked arts professionals.

Our range of activities for pre-school children includes weekly classes: Funky Monkeys, Baby Signing and Showstopper Tots; and for older children we have weekly after school Youth Theatre classes.

Exclusively for carers with babies we offer regular Bring Baby screenings as part of our cinema line up as well as a weekly Bring Baby Choir.

In the school holidays we have family shows, activity weeks, arts and crafts, storytelling and children’s movies – there is something on every day.

Our Christmas shows are based on children’s story books and are perfect for younger children. Previous shows have included The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark, How to Catch a Star, Kipper’s Snowy Day and Percy the Park Keeper's One Snowy Night.

Our annual Kite Festival, held on the first Sunday in September, is the perfect end to the summer holidays with kite making workshops leading up to the festival, as well as kite decorating and live performances on the day.

Our annual Community Lantern Parade takes place in December and brings together families to create willow lanterns then parade them through Maidenhead Town Centre, accompanied by musicians and dancers.
