Welcome to Petite Pousse, a warm and engaging French playgroup designed for little learners (from 6 months to 5 years old) and their families! 🌱🎨
Through stories, music, funny games and creative activities, children naturally absorb French in a joyful and immersive way. No prior French needed—just curiosity and fun!

📅 Sessions: Between 30 and 45 minutes

👶 Ages: Perfect for little ones under 6 (siblings welcome!) Our baby playgroup starts from 6 months to 2 years old and our preschool playgroup starts from 2 to 5 years old.
🎭 Activities: Stories, songs, movement, sensory exploration inspired by the Montessori approach and and creative crafts based on Reggio Emilia approach.

I'm Mary, a passionate French educator with over 10 years of experience working in schools, nurseries, and supporting children with special educational needs.
My journey has always been driven by a love for neuroscience and alternative pedagogies, seeking the best ways to nurture children’s development through play, curiosity, and meaningful connections. Few years ago, I became a Mom and a postnatal Doula with the desire to support parents in their journey.

Originally from France, I’ve lived in London, Bath, and now Bristol, where I saw how many French-speaking and bilingual parents longed for a space to connect with others similar families. Petite Pousse was born from this vision—a warm, welcoming community where little ones can discover French in a fun and natural way, and where parents can find support in their bilingual parenting journey and make friendships. 🌱✨
