What Petite Pousse says

Discover the Joy of Learning French Through Play!

Welcome to our French playgroups, a warm and engaging space where young children (ages 0-5) can explore the beauty of the French language through play, songs, and creativity. Whether you’re a parent or a childminder, my sessions are carefully designed to cater to your child’s developmental needs while making language learning a delightful and rewarding experience.

Why Join Our Playgroup?

Introducing a second language at a young age has countless benefits, from boosting cognitive development to enhancing cultural awareness. Our playgroup provides a nurturing environment where your little one can absorb French naturally while having fun and making new friends.

Depending on your child's background, the sessions will awaken their ears to another language or encourage them to speak more French with you if you are a French-speaking family. By setting up these French playgroups, my purpose is also to bring together a community of parents and create connections.

About

Bonjour! I’m Mary, a passionate advocate for early childhood education and a native French speaker with 10 years of experience working with young children. As a French expat Mom and Early Years educator, I understand the importance of introducing little ones to new languages and cultures from an early age. I am passionate and love exploring all the various tools what I can offer to children by Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches. Working for a bilingual Montessori nursery opened my eyes on how much of a gift I had to give to children/families.I love seeing my daughter and children switch much more easily than me from French to English. I worked for a bilingual Montessori nursery in London,
That’s why I created this French playgroup—to provide a fun opportunity and immersive environment where children can explore the beauty of the French language through play, songs, and creativity. Learning through Play is really important, children's development are very different of that of an adult. Together, let’s spark a love for learning and help your child build confidence in their language skills!
