Our dynamic classes are designed to develop youth confidence and improve health and fitness whilst learning fantastic performing skills in a safe and encouraging environment. All of this helps to develop important social skills for our students to take with them into the real world.
About
My name is Claire Walford and I am delighted to be Principal of Razzamataz Theatre Schools in Yeovil. Having two children of my own, I recognise the value of the performing arts in promoting fitness, self-esteem and confidence.
I have very fond memories of dance classes when I was a little girl, especially performing at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury each year in our dance school pantomimes. I have also enjoyed working with several local theatre companies in Yeovil.
My background is accountancy, so the chance to pass on this love of the Performing Arts to youngsters, and run my own business, proved irresistible, and the Razzamataz franchise has certainly ticked all the boxes. There’s something new and exciting developing every week, and the students’ progress is always a great source of pride for me and my team.
I am always looking for opportunities to develop my students at Razzamataz Yeovil. With an excellent group of teachers, and a really enthusiastic bunch of students, it is a fantastic experience all round!
