SARA'S NATURE PLAY AND LEARNING
Outdoor play, nature exploration and crafts for under-fives
What Sara's Nature Play and Learning says
Qualified Forest School leader and Early Years practitioner providing parent/toddler activities in a natural woodland space. Sessions are free of 'tech' and commercial toys. Children are encouraged to develop imagination and creativity through exploration and open-ended natural resources. Self-directed play helps children to develop self-esteem, self-confidence and safety awareness. Children and parents develop their own connection with nature which promotes knowledge, understanding and respect for the environment and personal health and well-being.
About
I am a level 3 qualified Forest School leader and Early Years practitioner with 19 years experience of working with families, previously as a registered childminder and currently as a part-time children's nanny. I have been running Forest School based sessions at Braeburn Park Nature Reserve since April 2018. I also volunteer with the London Wildlife Trust (who manage the site) taking part in nature conservation projects.
