Description
Build up your knowledge and confidence of off-road cycling with our introduction courses. These will include a helmet, clothing and bike check, tips on what to take out for a ride, bike fit, trail grading and trail etiquette as well as lots of skills to learn.
Riders must be able to cycle independently including starting off on their own, cycling for a reasonable distance confidently and stopping safely as well as experience on grass, inclines and declines. Riders are required to attend sessions wearing suitable clothing such as long trousers, long sleeves, gloves and trainers. No open toe shoes, wellies or skirts are allowed to be worn during sessions. Riders must wear a helmet complying to EN1078 (this will be printed inside the helmet) at all times. No helmet - No cycling. Bikes used within our sessions must be safe to use with no missing parts. This includes all components to be tight, 2 working brakes on pedal bikes and pumped up tires etc.
Riders are only able to attend 1 of the 2 free courses throughout the Easter break.
