BABYLOVE GROUPS

Tweenies class; perfect for babies who like to sit up with or without support, roll around and begin to move independently. Each rainbow bright session is a filled with lively, action filled warm up songS to get everyone in the mood and encourage babies to focus and engage. Our musical instrument exploration continues as babies learn to independently make sounds and join in with simple rhythms. Our signing program continues with new Baby Love signing songs being introduced as we explore our terms theme through puppets, props, sensory exploration and songs and rhymes. Baby Love Tweenies is a much livelier and active session than Baby Love Tinies but still including the popular big dance and chill out time.

The Babylove program was created by the Founder of Babylove, Claire Walby-Kettle. Claire started her career as a Primary School Teacher in 1995. Within a year she was promoted to Nursery Head Teacher and early years coordinator. After a few years her career took her to Hong Kong where she joined an international network of schools who followed the English Curriculum; here she was a class teacher and a member of the early years support team working across multiple schools. Her insatiable need to understand more, more, more took over and she returned to the UK to study an Early Years MA, at this point she was invited to join the government working party creating and evaluating the foundation stage profiling systems.

Then…….along came two little ones and her whole world was turned upside down. Suddenly the need to understand the development of newborn to 3 years was all consuming so amongst lots of other research and whilst being a very busy Mum with two uner 2.5 years, Claire put herself through infant massage and infant sign language instructor courses, filling in the gaps of developmental knowledge. To formalise this she undertook a CCLD level 3 course in childcare and development.

A nurturing, friendship, awe and wonder filled group overflowing with sensory engagement activities, gentle musical exploration, movement, massage, meditation and a little bit of rainbow crazy fun.
Each session is designed to holistically develop your little one in a calm and love filled space whilst helping Mums to build their own Mummy tribe.
