Description
Noah’s Ark is run on a Thursday morning during term time between 10 am and 11.30am. We regularly see about 25 families, with Mums, Dads and Grandparents bringing children from the ages of 0 – 5 years. For many, it represents their first contact with Belhus Park Chapel.
The morning consists of a time of free play, where the children can play with whatever toys they choose or spend time being creative at the art table. Each week there is something different to paint, glue or make, usually following a theme over a number of weeks. (Themes such as Bible animals, ‘thank you’, and Bible characters to name just a few). During the session there is a time of refreshments for everybody and the morning ends with a song time.
The cost for each session is £1.50 per family, payable on arrival. The group is non-profit making, with all the money being used to provide toys, craft equipment, refreshments etc, including the cost of additional play equipment and gifts at Christmas.
