Are you ready to learn all birth AND baby? The Antenatal Course is for you!
A 15 hour course to attend with your partner, it's a complete preparation for your journey into parenthood.

You'll learn all things birth. Active birth, labour, breathing techniques, positions, movement, massage, hormones, how it all works, interventions, pain relief, induction, instrumental birth, c-sections.

I’ll teach you what you need to know to keep in control and make informed decisions when you need to. If you understand the process you are much more likely to feel confident and have a positive experience.

But the journey doesn’t end there, what happens when baby is born? We’ll also talk about postnatal recovery (all the bits no-one tells you!) and how to care for your newborn plus what you might all need in the early days and weeks.
There is so much in here, from the practical nappy changing and bathing through to emotional things like relationships and postnatal depression. There will be lots of practical tips and advice and I’ll help you be ready to cope with; feeding, winding, holding, crying, sleep, colic and so much more.

Plus you get the complete Infant Feeding Workshop as well! Ensuring you are all set and ready to feed your baby whatever your goals.

My wife and I took the antenatal course last year, about 10 weeks before our baby arrived. I didn’t know much about pregnancy, actually I knew very little but taking the course, we learnt about the latter stages of pregnancy, the various options for birth and the stages after birth. Our course was led by Beth who made the learning inclusive, fun and most importantly reassuring. She created a forum to enable us to pick up on topics after the class in case we needed more information. We could have chosen NCT but Beth is not prescriptive about pregnancy but rather provides a range of options so couples can make informed choices about the most important decisions in their lives.
