Description
The classes are designed to help you build confidence in your body's ability during a time of is rapid bodily change, where your usual exercise routine may no longer be serving you well. The classes are structured in a way that you can choose your intensity depending on how you feel that day, safe in the knowledge that the whole session is created to work with your current physiology to help you feel your best, all whilst giving your core & pelvic floor the attention they need during this season of life
For Pregnancy
the focus is to build or maintain a level of functional muscular strength to aid with postural changes, pelvic floor control & any pregnancy related symptoms you may be experiencing to keep you moving & functioning at your best throughout your pregnancy
Postnatally
suitable from the day you give birth, the classes are programmed to restore & build strength in your tissues from the inside out. you will learn how to reconnect with, engage & relax your pelvic floor muscles effectively and we work on restoring your core muscles, improving your posture, mobilising sticky joints, building muscular strength & the skills you need to return to the exercise you love
- The gym space is located upstairs at Blueprint, so carrying baby or sleeping babies in car seats is recommended, there is not much space for prams unfortunately
- Toilets and baby changing facilities are available on site, you’re also welcome to change baby on your mat for ease (please take any dirty nappies home with you)
- There are a few parking spaces outside the building or there is some free street parking
- Please do not worry if you’re running late (we all are! kids are unpredictable!) you cannot be late to this class :)
