Description
The "treasure basket" is a well known activity in the early years which involves an invitation for the very young to explore freely a basket containing a collection of, yet not limited to, household items, that present an interesting or intriguing sensory quality.
Sensorial exploration is usually the main interest that drives the activity, yet a more indirect, emergent social aspect, is also of great importance, as the other infants become often a strong focus.
