Description
Street dance is a popular, high-energy umbrella word for many dance styles that originated in the streets and clubs of New York City in the 1970s, and it has since become a worldwide phenomenon. It’s a high-energy, creative, and exciting form of dance that is perfect for children of all ages.
Street Dance Hip Hop improves physical fitness and coordination, helping your child maintain a healthy lifestyle, whilst boosting confidence and encouraging creativity and discipline. Our experienced instructors will guide your child through a variety of different street dance styles, including: Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, House and Battles.

Teaching Children’s Classical RAD Ballet, Street / Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Performing Arts & More. Dakoda’s Dance Academy is a central London based children’s dance & performing arts academy with classes held in Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia. Our Academy offers the highest standard in children’s dance & performing arts education with individual attention given to every child. We offer a wide range of dance styles including– Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, Street Dance / Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Acro/Gymnastics as well as singing for children from the age of 1 – 17. Students taking Ballet classes are given the opportunity to participate in Royal Academy of Dance examinations and West End Theatre performances are offered to all from the age of 5.
