Description
Children aged 4-6 years old enjoy ongoing weekly sessions blending the joy of art with foundational literacy skills.
Children can attend up until the day before their 7th birthday. They can then move up to the next class for 7+ year olds.
We focus on helping children develop their reading and writing abilities through creative expression. Children participate in hands-on art projects that encourage them to explore letters, words, poetry, storytelling and more. Sessions include activities such as painting, drawing and crafting, allowing each child to express their thoughts visually whilst reinforcing their understanding of English language.
All children are encouraged to excel in their education. We combine the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and independent learning, allowing for recaps and great advancements in learning for each and every child.
The premises provides accessibility for individuals with disabilities, including a toilet designed for disabled access and a lift. The lift facilitates entry to the first-floor Research Centre, which is generally not accessible to the public; however, it can be utilised to view several paintings displayed on the walls near the staircase.
