This workshop is perfect for mothers who are looking to regain their fitness, rebuild their strength, and rediscover the joy of running in a supportive and understanding environment.
What to Expect:
1. Expert Guidance: Our workshop is led by experienced trainers and health professionals who specialise in postpartum fitness. They will provide personalised advice and share essential tips on how to safely and effectively return to running as well as a one hour training session.
2. Comprehensive Warm-Up & Cool-Down: Learn the importance of proper warm-up and cool-down routines tailored for postpartum bodies to prevent injury.
3. Strength and Conditioning: Engage in targeted exercises that focus on rebuilding core strength, pelvic floor health, and overall muscle conditioning to support your return to running.
4. Running Techniques and Drills: Receive coaching on running form, breathing techniques, and pacing to ensure a smooth and enjoyable transition back to running.
5. Community Support: Connect with other postpartum women who share similar goals and challenges. Build a network of support and motivation that extends beyond the workshop.
Who Should Attend: This workshop is ideal for postpartum women at any stage, whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner looking to return after childbirth (optimum time 4-10 months post-partum). We recommend that participants have clearance from their doctor/physiotherapist to engage in physical activity.
