FORGOTTEN FOREST

These 6 sessions we will be themed and allow everyone to get to know each other and for the children to become Confident in the woods.

The forgotten forest would love to welcome children ages 5 and under to 6 consecutive sessions on Fridays mornings throughout winter.

Each week there will be a running theme for the children to explore; Using sensory materials provided, guided crafts and a story time. Of course, for sleepy parents there will be hot drinks available.

We always have to option to use this time for the children to run free and roam the forest, free play is encouraged. There will be a dedicated ‘no muddy boots’ area for babies with sensory materials to explore, where they can roll around without being directly on the forest floor throughout.

If you have never visited Forgotten forest before, please ensure you are all layered up and ready to enjoy all weathers with your little one and Sarah and Jodie cannot wait to meet you!

Get outside and into nature whilst playing out in a private woods hidden away in Brighouse.

If you have a little explorer walking to 6 years who loves being outside, bring them along to our Forest School for some outdoor nature related play. These sessions will incorporate the Forest School ethos where sessions are very much child led.

We will listen to a have a story ,create a craft and learn about nature.
You will be able to explore the woods, make dens, climb trees, make mud pies, create tree sprites out of clay, relax in hammocks, swing on the tree swing and feed the chickens whilst enjoying some quality time in nature.

We will enjoy hot chocolate and toast marshmallows around the campfire. There will also be tea, coffee and water available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements as we can cater for all needs.

Please dress for the weather.

We will all meet on the driveway and go up together.
