The Buxton Community Christmas Grotto is back for a third year, allowing everyone to enjoy the magic of Christmas for free!
We will once again create an incredible Grotto where children and adults with learning disabilities can meet Santa and his elves, whilst also enjoying up to 30 minutes playtime in out magical Grotto!
Activities include snowball fights, making ornaments, playing with our gingerbread dough, making reindeer food and much more!! We might even have some festive furry friends for you to meet!
Tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets etc will be available- also free of charge.
Families are facing some of the toughest financial pressures ever. Parents are being forced to sacrifice or make harsh choices leaving them feeling low at what should be one of the happiest times of the year. Alongside various local organisations, we will be creating a magical visit with Santa, free of charge. Christmas is and always should be a magical time for everyone!
We have proudly delivered this incredible experience to over 500 children and adults with disabilities. The event is run entirely by volunteers and through donations.
We are hoping to raise £1,000 towards the running of the event. This will pay for selection boxes, decorations, props and Santa’s wage. When you book your tickets, you will be able to choose from a selection of tickets, you can use this ticket system to make a donation or simply book your free place anonymously.

Booking info & prices
Please bring a blanket or something to lay your child on. All venues are accessible and have free parking available. Please note that non attendance is non refundable. Places cannot be transferred. I will offer a refund if I have to cancel any sessions. By attending a Hannah Banana group or event you are agreeing to this code of conduct: Children will be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children should be supervised by their responsible adult at all times. Please inform Hannah Banana if you do not wish for your child's image to be shared on social media for advertising purposes. No first aid will be offered by Hannah Garrigan at a Hannah Banana Party or event. Hannah Banana Parties will enforce a ‘Zero Tolerance’ of any forms of abuse or discrimination at Hannah Banana Events or groups. Please do not block any fire exits with your belongings. Warnings and advice may be given when using venues or props, however it is the responsibility of the elected guardian to ensure their child's safety. Hannah Banana Parties will not accept any liability for any accidents or injuries caused during an event or group.
