Description
Funky Feet is designed to be an active session, concentrating on developing fine and gross motor skills and spatial awareness. The basic stepping patterns of hopping, skipping and jumping are introduced and the children learn about rhythm in more structured musical activities using a wide range of instruments. We continue to use exciting props and introduce new songs, some of which require the children to respond imaginatively through movement and music. We introduce a variety of musical genres from classical to jazz in our listening time, during which we introduce mindfulness activities. Sessions conclude with exciting parachute games and bubbles.
