These in-depth birth education classes are taught the informal and relaxed setting of my home in Upper Saxondale (near Bingham & Radcliffe-on-Trent) over some light refreshments. It feels more like a catch up with friends than a class.

Speaking of friends... all of my antenatal classes are a fantastic place to meet other parents to be, and get to know other people at the same stage of life as you.

Come alone, or with your birth partner!

Bite sized birth is suitable for you whether it's your first or fifth baby; There is always something new to learn. I recommend attending these sessions any time after 20 weeks gestation.

Main education Topics each term by Week:

Week 1: The wonderful Uterus, contraction dynamics, & the big player birth hormones. Plus our first relaxing birth breathing technique.

Week 2: The magical cervix, dilation, progress, what the stages of birth can present like & how to know when to head to the hospital/place of birth.

Week 3: Pain relief options both natural and medical, Their benefits vs Risks. Plus our pain relieving birth breath.

Week 4: Induction techniques, Risks Vs Benefits, The natural birth accelerator pedal & making informed decisions.

Week 5: The "pushing" stage, choices, positions & our 3rd birth breathing technique to breathe baby out (Also a great cure for constipation).

Week 6: 3rd Stage - Birth of the placenta, your choices around it. Options for immediatly after your baby's birth.
