Join us creating a more sustainable version of motherhood with more energy, balance, and resilience.
Motherhood is all-consuming. You go from having time to do things you enjoy to having to ask for help just to be able to tend to your own basic needs like showering, eating, and sleeping. Society sends the message that you should take care of yourself – but as a mum that can feel downright impossible. And it doesn’t always feel easier as your children get older, because along with that come more mental and emotional demands.
In this one-hour workshop with Wellbeing Psychologist Kirsti Gwynn, you’ll discover various things you can do to recharge your own batteries without necessarily spending time away from your kids.
Some things we’ll talk about:
*Simple tweaks you can make to your mindset to feel less guilty and overwhelmed
*How to really soak up the moments of happiness and joy, so they fill your cup more
*Inspiring your partner to take on more of the mental load and housework.
Of course, lack of sleep can leave you feeling exhausted as a mum of little one/s. However, other things like the mental load of motherhood, your outlook on life, and even the way you treat yourself when you’re having a hard time, also have a big part to play in how drained or energised you feel.
Join us to learn some simple wellbeing techniques that can help you to have more energy on a day-to-day basis, even in the context of broken sleep.
