MAKING MUMS

Join us for a 1.5 hour mindful craft class where we explore a simple craft technique.

Each week we will learn a simple craft technique, something that can be done whilst your baby sits on your lap, snuggles in the sling, has a feed or snoozes in the pram. This session is an opportunity to do something for you, to have a chat with other local mums and to let your mind wander whilst you make something with your hands. So much of your day as a new mum is spent looking after your new babe and perhaps taking them to classes for their development, so let this class be a weekly opportunity to carve out time to nurture yourself and spark your creativity.

Materials are included and each week we explore a different craft - embroidery, collage, weaving, patchwork etc.

** If you'd like to fully make a Christmas tree decoration, please book on to both sessions! Making is slow with a babe in arms **

This class is best suited to mums of small babies who are not yet on the move. We will have our hands full for most of the class, and small babies will usually be chilling on a mat on the floor. Please do bring along toys to keep your little one occupied. Just getting out of the house with a small baby is an achievement in our book. Please don’t let your little one being loud or running late stop you from coming - we would love to meet you!

This class is held in a studio down some stairs and prams will need to be left upstairs.
There is not a private baby changing area at this venue, just a mat in the communal area.
