Teach with Love, Learn through Play at gentle Baby Swim Classes - We’ll show you how to build your child’s water confidence, teach key swimming and water safety skills and lay the foundations for your baby to have a lifelong love of the water, all while having a lovely time together, building bonds of love, trust, and understanding.

What to expect at Class - The Baby Swim Squad Our teachers are in the water along with yoiu and all are level 2 STA qualified baby to preschool swim teachers and all of our lessons are based on the STAs Award Winning international learn to swim programme, recognised as being the most cmprehensive early years swim programme in the world. Together with your baby, will enjoy gentle confidence-building activities and there is plenty of time for skin to skin, and cuddles, bringing your love for them into the pool. We want you both to feel comfortable, relaxed and safe, and to have lots of fun together. Activities designed for this age group are focused on water confidence and safety. We’ll work towards movement on tummies and backs, beginning to splash and kick, beginning to hold on at poolside, and becoming able to submerge confidently as your baby grows and develops. Babies have amazing reflexes, and we’ll help you tap into them, helping confidence and early swimming. Older babies will love to zoom through the pool with your support! Following baby’s lead and their developing reflexes, we explore the pool together and playing more participation and imagination games. As baby’s strength and understanding grows they start to recognise their cues to splash, kick and submerge. You will love the teamwork between you and baby and feel proud of the progress they make each week. And we'll send you a digital bubble book so you can track their progress and tick off the skills as they master them, and look ahead to what skills are next.
