MUSIC HOUSE FOR CHILDREN

🎹 In groups of six, pupils learn piano technique through a structured yet creative approach. A variety of genres are explored, including classical, jazz, pop, and blues.

🎶 Using a long-standing framework for keyboard learning, pupils integrate technique with creative composition, singing, and notation. Lessons develop skills in notation comprehension, rhythm, technical dexterity, and composition.

🎼 Sight reading and aural training run alongside a varied repertoire of pieces each term.

Sight-reading and aural training run alongside a repertoire of pieces each term. Our annual concerts celebrate every pupil’s achievement with performances on our Boston Steinway grand piano.
