Description
Being creative through art and crafts can be a way in which children express themselves, explore their senses, develop their fine motor skills, boost their imagination and just have fun! Making marks by using crayons, paint, chalk etc is also the first step towards early writing. So come along, get stuck in and enjoy making art!
The Art and Crafts sessions this half-term will focus on the theme ‘Spring and Flowers’. Each week our budding, young artists will learn a new skill and create pieces of artwork to take home. The activities include: colour mixing and matching, making recycled plant pots and using joining techniques to make Mothering Sunday and Easter cards. There will be at least three art and/or craft areas each week, as well as lots of other toys and activities that we know young children thoroughly enjoy.
Refreshments are available for adults and children during the session and, most importantly, time for all to chat, play and develop new friendships.

Spring Term 2 Start Week beginning: 24th February Cost for each session - £4.50 per child Sibling £4.00 per child Half term block booking for 6 weeks - £4.00 per session/per child If a parent/carer needs to cancel a session for any reason that is not a problem. Please contact Angela Allen (Group leader) via email and another session will be rearranged, that has availability and is suitable for you.
