To improve confidence, balance, co-ordination, listening, and instruction taking skills. To introduce the balance bike with the final aim to encourage two-feet up balance on a bike, core strength and steering.
More Details
The balance bike provides a swift and easy progression onto a pedal bike without stabilisers. Not all children take to balance biking immediately and the class structure allows them to learn from their peers and develop their skills through a series of fun games, challenges and obstacles; building endurance and skill week by week with progressive training methods. All pre-schoolers should have 180 minutes of physical activity per day including 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise.
